How to install free mods, liveries, and add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator

How to install free mods, liveries, and add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Actually it will divert you to two websites.

 https://www.msfsaddons.org/

The instructions to install the mods are written in the required pages but not clear. Not easy to find the community folder.

Use search to find "packages"

My Packages directory is actually in the Appdata/Local folders, not immediately after Appdata folder. This was the problem that I faced in finding the Community folder.

 C:\Users\othma\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

That installation files recommends another software to ease installing mods, Modmanfx

https://msfsaddons.org/freeware/modmanfx

or directly here:

Unfortunately it requires you to tell it where the Community folder is first also.

Another problem with it is that it does not work with .rar or uncompressed files.

Below is a picture of the FA-18 beside Mount Kinabalu. Just select it from the plane at the top left of the World Map menu screen. This plane is not found in the profile or marketplace.

For the scenery, i used Modmanfx so that I can easily uninstall these mods and and a record of these files.

Unfortunately, the scenery is only installed after I have exited FS2020. For the P51 racer, we need to copy all 4 folders into the Community folder.
